PDZ in brooder?

I should be getting my cream legbar babies next month. Getting ready to set up the brooder. Would it be safe to use Sweet PDZ only for the bedding material? It sounds cleaner and less smelly to take care of.

Yes, it's perfectly safe even if they eat it, I haven't ever used it as the only bedding but it should work regardless.
