PDZ Rake

A while back some one posted about a homemade tool they used to rake their PDZ with. Best I can recall it helped keep the PDZ level and the same depth across their dropping’s board. I can’t remember who posted or what thread it was under. Would sure like to see the pics again if anyone know who it was. TIA

This is what I use to level the PDZ after cleaning. A piece of dowel with washers super glued to the ends and a smaller dowel for a handle. Keeps a constant dept no mater the angle.

@aart has a rake/scoop combo she uses to keep it level. I just use a kitty litter scoop. I keep it about 1/2 to 3/4 inches deep, doesn't matter if I try to level it because they scratch around in it every day.

I use a board with screws that can be tipped for variable depth.
Started at about 3/4" but cranked screws down to about 1/2".
