I had 2 pea chicks hatch yesterday. One has curled toes. I made snow shoes for that one.
The other looked like it was twisted with the wing getting caught in one leg. When I took that one out of the incubator,
I noticed that it had a hard time straightening the leg. I taped the legs as if it was spraddle leg. I also massaged the joint.
It seems better, but I am not sure how well the chick is trying to walk. I noticed on here that if it is a slipped tendon, that I should put pressure on either side of the joint to get it back in place. Does this sound like the case here?
thanks
