anyone have photos of an 18 to 19 week old with a pea comb? Trying to figure out if one of mine may possibly have it? Her 3 sisters have very obvious single combs but it seems like hers isn't even growing?

My Buckeye, Shannon, has what is classified as a small pea comb. She was about 19 weeks old in these pictures, and compare her to my Easter Egger of the same age who has a normal pea.

Eve (the EE), has a much larger pea now, while Shannon's has stayed true to the title "small" pea.

I hope this helps!

Oh gosh! I am horrible with this! I took pics of Goldie and Freckles to compare! They are sisters of same age! First is Goldie, the unsure comb!

Then Freckles with the single comb. The other 2 sisters look like this also!

I may just be crazy and they may be the same, I don't know!

What breed are they? It's troublesome discerning what type of comb she has....I'm not an expert.

I knowwww. I was told by the lady that dad is ameracuana and the mom is a Cochin. I would ask her but this was in May and I don't have her number and they moved! The mama looked similar. Here is a photo of the 5 together. I'm sure they are just mixed breed! I just like to stress over stupid stuff like why her comb isn't growing like the others or as quickly I guess! And I kinda wanted more green eggs! I dont know if that is possible though!

Oh dear, honestly, I'm still not too sure. Her comb doesn't seem as wide as my pea-combed girls, though. But once again, I'm not an expert, and some of the long-time BYCers would be able to answer your question really quickly. Maybe you could PM someone very knowledgable, like @Michael OShay , @BantamLover21 , or @Wyandottes7.
