Can peas and turkeys live together? at leat temporarily? My pea pair are about 2 years old and I just got 3 heritage turkey poults (about 2 months old maybe less) and i need to put together a coop for them but since they are all free ranging all day I was wondering if they could share a coop and pen for a few weeks while I get everything settled. That is if the peas dont pick on them. I know it is not ideal but is it really dangerous for the peas? I know that they should not be housed with chickens and figure turkeys would be similar but hoping maybe that it will be ok for a little while.

Thanks

You can, But turkeys get conjunctavitus easily. Then they can pass it to your peafowl. I know I didn't spell that right. The peafowl may peck at them for a couple of days before they get used to them. I had to seperate mine because of the eye stuff. Turkeys are none for this. Good Luck on what you decide to do.
