Pea Gravel run

Hi all
After mixed advice today i layed pea gravel in my 8 girls run and they seem to love it scratching around and helping me spread the gravel its only early days and if for some reason they show signs of not liking it it will be removed but so far so good easy to pick up the poop too if the hens are happy then im happy also after their hard work helping me they still gave me 8 lovely fresh eggs good girls

im quit new in the world of chickens but loving it dont want to sound all gloomy but been a bit stress out lately with work and a pending knee replacement at the age of 39 but i sat in the garden tonight with a cold beer and watched my hens for ages who needs the TV ha ha i read that they can relive stress didn't believe it but it did for me going to be a nice day in the uk again tomorrow so looking forward to getting out there in the morning after feeding the horse
