Peachick behavior: eating poop?

What? The bone is sticking out??? If the bone is dry you are going to have to trim off the end of the bone and wire it together for it to heal. A dry bone will not adhere and grow back together. That is what we had to do with this bird last November when this bird was only six months old. By January it was roosting again.

I have a vet appointment for tomorrow… it has been able to roost fine just scared of infection or further injury.
