Peachick doesn't fly???

I purchased 3 new peafowl - they all seem to be in great health & were well cared for We brought them home unfortunately in the late afternoon so they didn't have much time to get adjusted. We placed them on their perch & when I woke

up the next morning the purple pied & Indian blue(2 months old) seemed to be afraid to get down so we helped them & they have acted normal. Now we are at the end of day 2 & every peacock except for the purple pied look happy on their branch but she is choosing to sleep on the ground. She ate & drank just like the others & has been in high spirits all day. She just does not seem to know how to fly?

They can fly pretty much from the get go, but some are more reluctant than others, and some just prefer sticking to the ground at an early age... Even some of my adults seem to prefer 'roosting' on flat surfaces (like a table top) or the ground sometimes...
