Peachick still has bump on face

We have a vet really close by like a few blocks away. I am trying to think if they deal with birds or not...

I think it is really weird to see this on such a young bird. I would have thought to see something like this on an older bird.

I did a bit a research and ran across this article on birds, if nothing else it is a good read.
Looking at the photo after i enlarged it it looks like a tumor as it is not red from irritation like it would be if it were a worm or some kind of bit or infection.
Did it start out real small and grow or did it just pop up out of know where?

To me it is to close to the eye for you to try anything. I would start calling Vets and find a bird one. I can operate on an adult but a chick is just too small for me to cut, so I too recommend a Vet look at it. Maybe something simple, maybe not but at least a pro looked at it instead of guessing on what it is. But my guess is the little one got pecked or bit by a bug (could even be a bee sting) and it is having a reaction or it's getting infected. My adult that had the cyst did not have "red" skin at all just the large bump and a runny nose.

Alright we will have to see if a vet can look at the peachick.
The bump did start off smaller than it is. It looked the same size as the other peachick's bumps from musquito bites but then it got bigger and that is when I started questioning if it was going to go away or if it was something else. Yeah the fact that it is so close to the eye made me worried about it.

Poor thing, i wonder if it effects it's hearing, sure hope it can be removed before it gets to big and causes problem.
Good luck, let us know what you find out.
