Burmese are another sub-species of green. They are supposed to be duller than javas, more bluish.

No they are not there are 3 different species of the greens muticus-muticus is the javas, muticus-imperator and the muticus-spicifer the burmese. I have two pens of the burmese one pair is from Germany from Wolfgang and I have a 4 year old male offspring from another pair of the imports with 2 american burmese hens I have hatched 3 chicks out of this pen only one hen has layed and the male has droped his train. There is no burmese left in the wild. Here is a picture of a the only burmese chick I hatch so far out of the import pen he is a week old now the picture was took when he was 2 days old

Thanks ColbyNTX,

I wished i could take off and go see his birds but i don't trust no one to care for my animals i tried 2 times before threw the years and always came back to some kind of disaster, i just got to many animals to leave but i will take them over any trip cause i do love them soo..

The pups are doing great! My little Jack is 5 months now(62lbs) and Katie is 2 weeks behind. Already at this young age, nothing dares come in my yard! It was funny this evening when a 3 week old poult went out of its growout pen while I was feeding. It walked right up to Katie and Katie sniffed the poult and then the poult pecked her nose. She didn't care 1 bit. This pair has never even looked at a bird wrong!
