one is getting alot darker what does this mean is it jusst feathering out first?

to early to tell ,but both will start coloring out, male will get darker over the next two years, after 2 months should be able to sex them.

I had one just hatch this color. Does anyone know what color it will turn out to be? Disappointed I didn't get more to hatch, but that's how it goes with shipped eggs. He sure is cute. Hoping I can find him some friends.

blue BS will get black specks as they get older...purple, peach,cameo,bronze, blackshoulders will get diffrent shades of brown specks, of course the males will be getting darker than the females.

Then you have the charcoals and opals, blackshoulders and etc.
