Looks like I have a sick one. Not sure what it has, but I'm gonna guess that it's been sick for quite some time.
Current weight is 116 grams, but weight should be closer to 200 grams. Sigh... Anyway, found some foamy cecal poo in the brooder, which is not normal, so I'm thinking coccidiosis. It also keeps shutting one eye, but has not sighs of respiratory disease other than it gets winded easily while I mess with it.
Current plan is to start them on Corid and Baycox.
Baycox dose is 7 mg/kg orally for two days, and my Baycox is 50 mg/ml. I remember reading somewhere that Baycox needs to be diluted because it can irritate their esophagus is given undiluted, so I need to go weigh all of them, do a little math and figure out what the best water to Baycox ratio is.
Corid dose is easy, it's ~0.02 ml per 100 grams, which is about one drop. That and 2.5 ml per liter of drinking water. It's more than is needed, but if the sick one isn't drinking, I know it will get it's daily dose if I give it both ways.
