I've been reading all I can find about the anatomy of a cock but haven't found the answer yet. This is embarrassing for me to ask but does a peacock have a penis? The reason I ask is my 7-8 month old cock has been trying to breed a young chicken hen he was raised with. I know roosters aren't built that way and I don't know if it will hurt the pullet. She is around 9 months old and seems to let him do it. All my birds live in the same henhouse and free range thru the day so separating them would not be easy. I do have a peahen but she is only around 6-7 months old. Any advice appreciated.
