Help! Ive hatched just about every kind of feathered babies and figured out any issues with success. Until now lol !
We hatched 3 peacocks on sat and sun and after fixing one with a spayed leg, had no other visible problems. Healthy, active in every way but cry constantly unless I hold them around my neck close to my face. I use a scarf to keep them warm. Obviously they can't eat or drink like that but when I put them in their set up, they only pace and cry. They must be getting something otherwise they would show signs of not surviving! I like holding them but can't do it 24/7. They really are so sweet and healthy!

Can you describe your brooder setup for them and what you're feeding? Do you have a heat plate, or a heat lamp? A heat plate might give them more security.

I also just wanted to let you know that they're only peacocks if they're male :) Babies are called peachicks, females are peahens, and the general term is peafowl.
