Hi...Need to ask for help. Just checked my male Peacock limping, and his left foot is curled under. Looks like there is a sore knuckle on the middle toe. He isn't putting any weight on it. Any help would be appreciated, I'm not sure how it happened or what to do. Thank you

He's 3 years old...and today is the first that I noticed him limping

Here's a couple photos this morning...He was up on the roost, but as soon as he moved he couldn't put any weight on it

I have a peacock with a foot exactly like the one shown in this photo. I have contacted vets but none can come out and with his newly grown in tail I don't have a vehicle in which I can transport him. Would it be a good idea for me to get a friend to help me splint his ankle in some way so he has the ability to balance on two feet? He is not going up onto a perch anymore - he is eating and drinking daily. But that curled foot is keeping him almost completely immobilized. Any advice would be most appreciated. Janice
