I got this India Blue Pied last October at a month old - she/he is now 8 months - i’m leaning towards hen but the coloration on her head feathers is throwing me.

They don't really care, it would matter more to you if you want to worry about a setting hen getting ate on a nest or a noisy cock bothering the neighbors.Thanks - now got to go about finding Indy a buddy - is it better to have a pair of females or a male/female pair?
But we LOVE our damn guineas! That is we love to hate them, they are so relentless in annoying us. Peacocks are music to our ears, to the neighbor, well, not so much. We really miss the end of the breeding season when they quit calling.I guess better question which is noiser Guineas or Peacocks - these damn Guineas drive me NUTS they never shut up. - LOL
