I just got a bunch of mealworms from Sillybird. I mostly gave them to the hens, but I saved some to give to the outside birdies--Peafowl, turkeys, and guineas.
The hens LOVED them. At first they were a little leary--hmmm, is she trying to poison us? But then they went nuts for them.
Surprisingly, the Guineas and Turkeys did not seem interested.
But after a few minutes of examining them, picking them up and tossing them down again, the Peas were REALLY happy and excited. Ate them all and wanted more.
Shoot, maybe I'll have to start raising my own mealworms.
