Peacock with bump between eye and beck.

Hello! This is Carl. He is just a little guy that showed up one and a decided we were his home. Totally fine with us. But I noticed he has developed this big bump between his beck and left eye. Not on the beck but towards the side. You can only see it if he turns his head just right. I didn’t know if anyone had any advice or knowledge? Please and thanks.

Oh wow. Do you have a suggestion for antibiotics or anything like that? Or does it go away on its own? I thought he looked a little painful yesterday.

The best antibiotic for sinus infections is Tylan 200. Catching it this early a one or two-day injection of one ml given SQ should take care of it. However, you also need to consider the environmental condition that is causing it. Dust allergies are the normal causation of sinus infections.

I’ll definitely watch it for a couple days and if it gets worse then I’ll give him some help. But yes, my kid’s allergies up so I’m not surprised if the animals are too. Thanks so much.
