Peacocks

I am a new owner to 2 pair of oeacocks. They are almost 2 years old.i need to know what to feed them how do i take care of them. Can't i clip one wing to keep them from flying?.

Even with clipped wings peafowl can hop over a 6' fence, so that's not a good way to keep them around. The best way to keep them on your property is to keep them in a covered run.

I had peacocks as a child so my memory is a bit fuzzy but my parents built a 7' tall aviary enclosure (probably 8×8 inside) for them plus perches and a dog house to nest in or hide from cold weather. We fed them scraps ie veggie/fruit scraps and some bread but too much bread isnt good. I think they ate some cat or dog food but cant recall. They can scream "help" almost like a human.
