Okay. You know me I’m forgetful lol. Well I forgot to mark the date when I put the peafowl eggs in the incubator 😭 i candled them today- I see lots of veins, a dark spot and an eyeball. These eggs are from the breeding India blue pair in my backyard. The female is a rescue and we bought the male now they are a bonded pair. So I was wondering what day do y’all think the eggs are on? I put five in there, one egg was clear the rest look amazing.

Can you google peafowl embryonic development? Or compare it to chickens or something else with a similar incubation? Quail have eyeballs about day 5 (17 day incubation) but I’m guessing peafowl take 21 plus days to hatch so probably not apples to apples.

I'm surprised you are still getting fertile eggs the breeding season usually ends in late July. Sadly my peahen didn't lay any eggs this year, hopefully next year

You can’t see very well in the pictures but I saw a lot of veins and things, and the chick was moving
