I have tried twice with no luck to hatch peafowl eggs. I am incubating in Maticoopx incubators. I get the eggs from a local fellow so they aren't shipped. My first 5 were all fertile, but had the red ring of death. My next 5 are in the incubator on day 10 and when I candled them, there is one with no development and 4 with red rings. I reached out and he said peafowl eggs are really tough to incubate in an incubator which is why he is building a flock of bantam hens to broody them.
Has anyone experienced issues with peafowl eggs? I hatch out about 1000 eggs a year, chicken duck goose and quail. Usually have really good hatches! So I'm befuddled.
My humidity and temps are good and all the other eggs in the incubators are doing good.
