I would guess 18 to 24 months, maybe longer. I've never kept record on weight. I know there's a huge weight difference between my yearling peacock and my 5 year old peacock. I can try and weigh them tomorrow to let you know the weight difference.

I was just curious as to how long it would take them to reach full size in general (not talking male tail size). No use to go to all that trouble to weigh them. Thank you kindly for your comment.

I have 4 males that will soon be 5 months old. They are my first peafowl - going to be good sized i think.

Not talking about train feathers. I'm talking about the general weight just having them on my arm. I get peafowl tame and train them for showmanship and other shows like parades. Good luck on your first peafowl.

I'm going to agree about 18-24 months before they fully fill out and reach near adult size... They sprout up pretty quick but then seem to get caught in that 'skinny teen' stage for about a year or more before they bulk out...
