Hey, I want to know how long it would take a 4 yro peahen to bond with a random adult male peacock in order to lay fertile eggs? Also I want to know if peahens can reject the males sperm like a chicken hen and not have fertile eggs?

The males are moulting!

I think you're thinking ducks, which do have dead ends in their insides for rapist drakes' sperm. As far as I'm aware, chickens do not have a choice as to who the father will be.

For the best results, pairings should be made in the fall and the hens should stay in that stable environment through the laying season. Moving hens just before or during the breeding season usually turns her off, literally. Moving a cock is less of a problem and hens are more likely to accept a male moved into their environment than being moved to a strange place that they are not accustomed to.
