I’ve got a pair of yearling peahens that I hatched from shipped eggs last year. The chicks got mixed up at hatching, and could have been either peach, cameo or Montana. This was the first time I had hatched eggs from either of those colors before.

The hens are identical - can anyone confirm if the hen pictured is cameo or Montana? I was pretty sure this isn’t peach…

In the last picture she is shown from the back with a cameo silver pied cock and an opal white eye yearling cock.

If there is no iridescence on the back of the neck it is Cameo. Too dark for either Montana or Peach.
Thank you very much.

The breeding pen included peach hens, a peach male and a split peach male - can these hens be split to peach from this stock? Or would just be straight cameo?

I’m still a little fuzzy on color genetics.
