Peahen eggs

Yes, my pied peahen has been laying for at least a month. I have one black Silkie hen setting on 2 of her eggs and 1 white Silkie hen setting on another 2 of her eggs. She still has 5 eggs in the nest and she has not decided she is ready to set for herself yet, still laying eggs! Last year she ended up having about 8 or so eggs in her nest before she decided that it was time for her to set! I just let some of my Silkie hens help us out so that we can end up with more baby peachicks!

yep, most of mine are laying.......getting about 10 eggs a day.

averaging 2 eggs every other day and have 16 in the big brooder and number 17 is pipping away in the lil bator! have over 20 in the incubator.

I'm getting 2-4 eggs a day! I hate to admit it, but I've almost got too many eggs! I got to see 3 of them lay their eggs last night!

Would love to have some green ones to go with my flock!

My cousin has 42 peahens & most have been laying for over a month. He had his first incubator hatch about 10 or 11 days ago.
