This is our first laying season to have our peafowl and I am super excited for eggs, but none yet. I have 5 peahens and 2 peacocks. They are in a pen together. I am not sure of all the ages, but the hens should all be atleast 2 and the bronze male has a 9ft fan. Any advice or do I just need to wait a bit longer before worrying that we won't have any eggs??
Thanks!

1st what are you feeding them ,and have they been wormed. Breeding season has begun in some northern States. not all hens are laying yet...but should be this month. 2yr old hens late hatch may wait till june.

Don't be too concerned yet. Of the nine pens, 1 still hasn't laid yet and they are all well into breeding age and got good eggs last year. Couple more weeks and should be good to go.

The pens here at Pea Palace are finally picking up,,my last big pen of 9 IB hens with 3 Peacocks finally contributed by me getting the 1st egg from that pen last eve,,all these birds I hatched out 2 years ago in the month of June.
