The turkey and all 3 guineas came back positive with Avian Influenza. They aren’t sure the exact strain, but they are going to have my entire flock of chickens, ducks, guineas, and geese killed within the next day or so. Even though only the ones affected this entire week were the turkeys and guineas. We have had some of our birds since 2019. I am very devastated. Thank you all for the help! I really appreciate it❤️
Let us know when you hear back.

So sorry that you will lose all of your birds, but avian influenza is such a worldwide threat to wild birds and domestic poultry. It really hurts to lose our birds, but kudos to you for getting tested and finding the cause of illness. It just keeps on spreading to other flocks when it isn’t controlled.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. :hugs I can't even begin to imagine how devastating this must be. Did they give you any idea how soon you might be able to begin to repopulate?

Your other birds are proably carriers even though they didn't succumb. It's a horrible disease. This really hurts my heart, I'm just so sad for you right now. ❤️

Thank you. It really sucks but this is what they have to do to keep other birds safe. That is the most important thing. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
