My peahen has just turned 2 years old now and has started laying first clutch .... The problem is that she has laid 3 eggs in about 8 days , like almost after 3 days gap..... The other problem is that there isnt one place where she has laid eggs.... All the 3 eggs are on different places.... I only have one pair of peafowl, one indian blue peacock and one pied peahen.... Kindly tell me, what do I do....it's been like 2 days that she hasn't laid any egg..... Will she sit on eggs? I mean they they are spread all over my home.... 2ndly, if she doesn't sit on them, what should I do?

Hi there. I'm also a new peahen hatcher, and I wish I had some advice for you.. My peahen has been sitting on her clutch for about two weeks or so now, and I'm pretty sure she laid eggs elsewhere before she decided on this location. Unless you are breeding peafowl, I would probably just let it be. She may not have her mommy skills honed yet, or something I don't know about, being brand new to this entire poultry situation.. guinea hens, geese and chickens.. with an occasional whistling duck visiting the pond..

I hope someone can answer your questions.. maybe we can be hatch buddies..:)
