peanut shells as treats

can you feed peanut shells {no nuts} 4 treats
 
I don't think they will eat them. Mine don't-- but they LOVE peanuts. I buy them unsalted roasted peanuts. I bought a huge bag of raw peanuts for them once and they didn't like those--I had to cook them all up for them and then they wolfed them down.

No nutritional value.
 
If they are salted shells, don't give them to the chickens. Chickens don't need salt and salted peanuts are really loaded with salt.
