Peanuts ok for chickens?

I recently bought a wild birdseed bell, the kind you would hang from a tree with the seed all stuck together. It has all the usual seeds and also some peanuts... are these ok for chickens? Are they able to properly digest them?

Peanuts are fine and a decent high protein treat. Mine love them.
