Another visitor to the feeder today! All it took was this arctic blast to motivate them. We have a family of blue jays that lives close-by.

Hazel and Georgie are 4 year-old disabled and developmentally delayed sun conures (aka Mommy’s fire chickens).

They love each other to pieces.
Hazel likes baths, Georgie does not.

They hate:
Phones and cameras
Other birds inside the house
All outside wild birds
Brooms and mops
All cars
All bicycles
All Amazon delivery trucks and people
Mailman and vehicle
Garbage truck
Riding mowers
Push powers
Weed whacker
Any pedestrian walking down the street
Strollers
Anyone’s dogs visible outside
The morning July 5, 2025 cow fiasco where one neighbor’s cows ended up on the front lawn of the neighbors that live across the street. The fire chickens had more opinions then the neighbors who’s lawn got trampled.

They express their displeasure with the loudest, most ear-piercing screams ever.

But we love them always!
