Rico was spicy this evening. Had to go in time-out on the bird tree when he tried to bite me for not petting his head. His expressions change and his “mutton chops” go up when he’s considering biting the hand.

Already the last day of January…time goes by so fast. Our son’s old Star Wars comforter is now a winter family room blanky. Husband would not let me have it this afternoon. He and Pancho can be so smug!

Saw this on the way to work. Hubby says it’s a windmill turbine blade.

Beautiful, blustery afternoon. Petunia the rooster always has a windswept look due to frizzle feathering…extra ‘swept today! What a contrast to Gunner the bald hen (seen in the background).

Peas came out for a bit and headed back in the pen on their own after 20 minutes. (The other day it took me an hour to herd them back in!)
