Saw this little guy hiding in the ladder when I went to prune the crape myrtles.

Peas love dandelion leaves. The nictating membrane of their eyes go up when they eat…very shark-like!

Caught the membrane half covering the eye in this pic…very creepy!

Long day at work so here’s a pic of the Macarena Flamingo. The batteries have been removed so it will never ever play the Macarena again. God willing.

My phoenix eggs are a week delyed by USPS…so disappointed! The seller will work with me depending on the outcome…the eggs are still several states away and likely will not be viable when they arrive. Ah well. I have collected eggs this week from my flock to start incubating….just in case.

Here are some possible future flock mates
