Pecked eye? Please advise.

This chicken has been keeping her eye closed, so I checked her out…..no blood, but apparently "weeping" or something, her beard feathers are wet. It appears that her inner eyelid is torn. I washed it out with saline, and she seems to be acting better…it is open more often. What else should I do? She is still eating and alert and acting normal, other than being alone a lot of the time…I think she might just get picked on a lot. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Poor girl! I would put a warm wet compress on it a couple of times a day to soften up the crusty drainage and soothe things. If you can find Terramycin or erythromycin ointment (or Neosporin) put some in the eye twice a day. Isolate her if she is getting picked on. If there is a bully put her in chicken jsil for a couple of days.
