Pecked eye?

My poor girl has blood coming from around eye, perhaps from eye.... boys saw it last night when putting chicks to bed, waiting for light to go down and collect her for further examination and to separate from others... any suggestions for eye care?

Wash it good. Keep her separated till it heals.

Flush the eye with saline.
If you don't have any on hand you can make your own sterile solution for eyes at home.
Add 1/2tsp of salt per 1 cup of water in a pot, boil for 15minutes. Let cool. Solution is best made fresh, but you can keep excess in a sterile jar for up to 24hrs, then throw it out and make more.

Once you have cleaned up the eye, take some more photos. Hopefully it's not too bad, the facial tissue can bleed a lot.
Apply a little plain neosporin, Terramycin eye ointment or Vetericyn eye gel to the wounds. (any of these can go in the eye).

If she is shocky provide her with fluids.
