Songster
In the past several days, I've spotted three hens (out of ten) losing feathers on the back of their necks. Other than feather loss they seem perfectly healthy, eating / drinking / laying well. One is the youngest and usually picked on, and she has it worst:
The other two are both Welsummers who are usually not bullied, and are always at the top of the roost:
Is it likely pecking? If so any suggestions for limiting it or helping the girls with the bare necks?
If it's something else, thoughts on stopping it? I couldn't find anything crawling or signs of eggs.
