I got this hen from a neighbor this spring after it had been kicked out of his flock by the other chickens. Everything has been going well until this week, I noticed her neck and chest are being pecked on. I have not seen which chickens are picking on her, but is there something about this hen since she seems to get picked on in in different flocks?

Poor girl. Chickens can be so mean......She may just be vary passive, and therefore at the bottom of the pecking order.....Do you have a place where you can keep her until those feathers grow back? It could also be since she's the newbie, she's getting picked on.

Poor thing. You may have to keep her separate from the other birds for a while. Maybe you can find one hen that likes her and keep them together. Don't know what else to tell you. Something may be wrong with her that the other birds only know.
