i came home after work and found one of my fifteen seven week old bbs orpingtons dead
i searched around for how a predator could have gotten in and then back out
and could not see any likely spots
she's was missing a lot of feathers, but not chewed up
and four or more of the others have spots on their backs that are red and or raw
i think it could have been an inside job,
does anyone have experience with this?
i started watching the others and noticed one, rooster leaning (not sure on many yet)
was pecking at the other's backs
i've separated him
but don't know what to do
should i put him in a separate area in the coop segregated from the others
or in another spot altogether
what if it's not him?
what if something else got her?
need your help
