I culled my egg eater out from my flock and now i got a hen or 2 thats pecking small holes in the eggs. I got 9 hens and they laid 7 eggs today but two had small holes in them. they aint eating them yet but dont want them to start. why are they doing this and how can i stop em

Sometimes it is a calcium issue. Give them oyster shells and see if it helps. It may be boredom also. You can try adding golf balls to the nest and see it helps. They aren't as much to peck at.

They got both. I give them oyster shell in their feed and I also mix it in a treat I give them every day. And I got one golf ball In every nest.
