Pecking order or more? Pic attached

Do you have a dog kennel/crate you can place her in outside?
Another option would be if you have extra chicken wire, fashion a makeshift pen inside the run (blocked off area) for her.

You can apply a little Blu Kote, Vetericyn or a+d ointment to her back if you wish. As for when the feathers regrowing, it depends on how they were plucked - if the shaft is still in the skin, then she may not regrow any until she goes through a molt. Was she previously housed with a cockerel before you got her?

fwiw - I would not put her in a cool dark place since she is recovering from a respiratory illness. She does need shade if it's hot and plenty of fresh cool water.

I will try to make something for her. She was in with a lot of chickens at the feed store. I think it's where they put all the babies that don't sell from the brooders. All about the same age, but she was one of the smallest.
I think I'll use a kennel and I can get a portable nesting box. In it and some branches and boards on top for cover. Hopefully she will heal quickly. I hate when they have to be alone.

So glad I did this. She's such a sweet natured girl. I swear she seems like she's perked up and has not stopped eating. I'm usually better at keeping an eye on that kind of stuff, but with the illnesses I missed it. Here's the apartment I set up for her. I ended up putting a tarp and awning over it in case of rain and to add more shade too.
I hope she gets better quickly she's so adorable...even bald!
Thanks for everyone's help!

It was a Possum.
I can't believe it didn't kill her. I'm sure that nothing was getting in their coop. It doesn't really have an opening and if something got in they would have to do damage to do it. Was it only getting one of your chickens?

That's a great little set up you have made for her. Hope she heals up quickly

Very nice:)
Placing it where she is still next to the others is a great idea.

Having a wire kennel comes in handy - it's one of the things I recommend everyone have. I have used mine many times.

I hope she recovers soon.
