Pecking order?

We have 4 chickens well established in the coop and we have 11 chicks just coming in, of the 11 chicks one of them is a banton rooster and he is much smaller than the other chicks, we introduced the chicks to the coop last week, chicks were born 3/3 and they were doing very well together, but tonight when we went out, there were a few chicks really beating up on the rooster

Is it normal for the others to be beating up on him and what if anything should we do

That's not normal. I often raise bantam roosters with standard hens. How big is your set up? Make sure there's places for them to get away from each other. Things to go under, over, through.
