Hello! I have three ISA browns (17 weeks), 1 barred rock (10 weeks), and 1 silkie roo (10 weeks). They have now been together for a week and a half. The ISAs have started laying in the nests and everyone seems to get along fine (with some gentle pecking here and there of course). They hang out mostly in 3 (isas) and 2 (barred/silkie) but occasionally all together. They have established the order (3 isas first obviously...) and at night all seems okay. In the morning, though, the silkie and barred are usually under a roost bar that I have while the isas roam the coop. No blood or anything and all good in the day. Will this go away? Do you think they are just being proactive?

FYI, they are free range during the day, but still will lay under same tree altogether without issues.

as for silkies they usually don't roost -because their crests/beards obscure their vision. It's common for them to pile up in a corner on the floor maybe the barred rocks like them and do the same
