I hope this is in the right form. I have rooster that first the past two days has been attacking one of his hens. She's the oldest at almost two years old and he was fine with her since they were put together last August. I've separated him from his harem of five and I would separate her but I don't have another cage. I've sprayed her down carefully with Triodine twice a day to keep it clean. Will he stop if he's separated for a while?

Sometimes separating them helps a little. But roo's do that when mating so I wouldnt hold my breath for a complete stop. Put some Blu-Kote on it. Chickens are attracted to the color red and blood and will continue to peck at it. Cover it with Blu-Kote to help hide it.
