Pecking

i jost got chickens and one of the chickens keep pecking at the others and thier tailfeathers are coming off. What should i do?

I've tried to get an answer on how to stop this behaviour for a long time. I have tried everything with no results. So, now I just let them do it. I do make sure that they aren't bleeding & so far they just peck the vent feathers & that's it. They look terrible but I'm tired of fighting it. I think my chickens are doing it when they go to roost.

One of my girls pecks the tail feathers out of all the other ones.... I usually give her a scrambled egg (Just in case she isn't getting enough protien) and Give them something to play with (some macaw or other big- bird toys, cut grass mixed with scratch, or a head of lettuce.) She usually quits... (for a week or so)



But I know how frustrating it is!! "AAAAAUUUGG!!! STOP THAT!!!!"
