pecking

I use my I phone. I don't use a computer. Could that be the reason I can't see the pics ?

I had to change the setting from "mobile to desktop " then added the pics on my avatar page. Then I change it back to mobile because the desktop is very tiny and I can't read any thing.

Hello and Welcome!

To stop pecking in our flock we use the Rooster Booster Pick No More Lotion. It's purpleish and it smells kind of funny. I would say that does help.

When the roosters get older, they get more interested in mating. The rooster is pecking you because he is trying to protect "his hens" and he thinks you are interfering.

I have not been on here for a while. I learned we have 5 roosters out of the 12 chickens. We have 1 black rooster by himself in a cage because he was starting to fight with the others. I found one of our red hens with 4 or 5 eggs under her this morning. I didn't know she had started to lay. I guess it's too late to take them from her. I hope the other hens and roosters don't hurt the baby chicks when they hatch !!!

The big yellow rooster who was my favorite because he used to let me hold him has changed into a mean rooster who wants to peck me if I try to pick him up. The only ones who have tried to peck me is the other black rooster and the red rooster. The brown and black one tried to peck me the other day. I guess my thought of all of them living in peace is out the window

. See my red hen with her eggs?

I just brought home 3 new chicks (maybe 2-3day olds) one of them is really being aggressive pecking/biting the other 2 in the face and eye area. What's up with that? I had 6 newbies in the same pen I now have 3 in. What do I need to do to correct this?
