In the Brooder
The post is a thank you to this site. I had started work at the farm a few months before and none of us were sure what to do about the scale mites on our poor ladies. None of them were exhibiting any mobility issues but I couldn't watch any of my favorite ladies (hens) have bad feet. So I prowled all over the forums and found what to do. This picture is me and a coworker giving the girls their "pedicures" to help get rid of the mites. You can see the poor girl in the back left wondering why she's locked out! (Had to keep them out until we could scrub down the interior of the coop.)

Anyone else ever had to clean their entire flock in a day?
