I've just joined BYC and think it is a wonderful site - so helpful. I have 4 hens and a rooster of my own (2 Americana, 2 Wyandotte and a very large Brahma rooster - very tame). I've had my hens for 3 years and until a few months ago they were great layers - finally today I got 2 eggs after months of nothing! I've converted one of the stalls (12'X12') in my barn for their roost so they're safe at night - but they wander all over during the day. I also raise Connemara ponies (hence my Avatar). Glad to be a new member of BYC.
