We were all sitting in the livingroom when all of a sudden the loudest of peeping came from the bator. I didn't even notice a pip earlier, they are due tomorrow. Out and about is one little baby! It did a very nice job of pipping and zipping quickly. These eggs from my bantam partridge cochin mama and daddy mottled bantam cochin are very peppy. 3 more in the bator to go, maybe they can do it tonight while I am sleeping so they can be ready to go to mama hen tomorrow and I don't have to worry.
ok who are we kidding I am going to worry, lol! Anyhow the kids and I went tearing into the bathroom where the bator is, while hubby just rolled his eyes!
