Hi. This is my first time hatching eggs. Last night I heard peeping inside egg #3 and more today. Does that mean its gonna pip soon or is it stuck or something and can't? 4 of them already hatched. One 4 days early, 3 2 days early, 2 2 days early, and tomorrow is exposed to be hatch day.

Totally normal to peep many hours before hatching. I sure hope all goes well. Sounds like it's been a little unusual. Hatching is always so stressful but the first is the worst! [IMG]

If it were me, I'd put a pin hole into the airsac, then put it right back in the bator and make sure the humidity gets up to 70....

If it hasn't pipped on it's own in 12-18 hours then I'd consider helping it, bit by bit.

Humidity is 75 and I (very carefully) but it up to my ear and it sounds like its starting to pip. Now I think I'm just gonna wait and see because that's what it was like with my other 4 that hatched! Except one of them was partly shrink wrapped and had to help it out just a bit! But he/she is fine! I think it should be out by tonight! Thanks everyone!! [IMG]
