I'm just tired of the hype. I'm so sick of it.

And yes, I caught a few sentences in the book. It's not gripping, and they seem to be wayyy to lovey-dovey.

And if some people hate us, please leave.

I've never understood how someone could fall in love with a VAMPIRE described as having skin as cold as marble. Does that mean its hard too? Not someone you want to cuddle up with on a cold winter night. And yes I read all the books to see what the hype was about.--not my cup of tea. My teen age son read them to attract girls and it worked.

I for one think that the stories had promise, interesting ideas, but the books are not very well written. I know that the series is for children, but still, not well-written at All. I did read them though, because, I thought the idea of the story was interesting, and I wanted to see where it would go.

Anyways, after suffering through the poorly-written books, I just could NOT take that movie. Quit about halfway through.

(the books seem to be quite popular, so, they can't be all that bad. the more time that kids spend reading and the less time they spend playing video games, the better, IMHO)
